Re: Indiana for the '13 muzzleloader season
Good luck, I couldn't make it back home this year. I normally hit Franklin County, in the SE. Got lotsa family up that way.

Re: Green swamp
Just rented a new house just off Rock Ridge, not far before Deen Still hits it. The back fence to my 5 acres is literally the GS Hampton tract property line. Putting a feeder up with a shooting lane cut from the back porch

Re: Ballistics Help - Sighting In Muzzleloader
Ain't no way I'd spin a scope that I knew where it was hitting unless I could shoot it to verify before taking it to the woods. I'd rather know it was shooting "x" high or low or whatever and compensate that way than start spinning it.

Re: Car Sales
Not a car salesman, but I bought a truck earlier this year and my biggest problem was the guys not listening to what I was looking for. I told them all outright that $15k is the absolutely max I would spend, GM only, Chevy preference, extended cab or crew cab, 4x4. I had guys trying to sell me F-150...

Re: Any mechanics on here?
Oh, DISCLAIMER: I'm not a mechanic.
I'm a lab nerd. I've just always drove beaters and had to fix my own junk cause I couldn't afford to pay someone else to do it. Now I pick up side jobs here and there and help friends out.

Re: Any mechanics on here?
Thanks. Another question after I've been doing some more reading. Can a sway bar link even go "bad"? It seems to me the bushings would go bad but, not the bar itself The link is what holds the sway bar to the control arm. Generally, yes, the bushings go bad rather than the bar connecting the two. T...

Re: Any mechanics on here?
You can rent a press, puller, torque wrench, etc (basically any tool you'll need for suspension work) from Advanced or Autozone. It's free to rent but you pay full price as a deposit, get it back when you bring it back. Pay cash for them so you get cash back, they sometimes take awhile to put money ...

Re: To Foul the Barrel or Not?
I've always fouled the barrel on mine, but it's an old side lock and the first shot after cleaning is always higher than the next few.

Re: Ping: Micah
My wife saw this house and was amazed. She was surprised to find out that a relative lives there. Not sure if you know any of the Galyens, this is their place. http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/vv295/houseofmicah/INDIANA13141.jpg Thats Ron Galyens place isn't it? He was my teacher for 9 years.
