Re: A little trapping luck

That's the type of traps they use in the San Felasco nature area in gainesville, they bought 2 or more of them to keep the neighboring developments from complaining about hogs.

Re: confusing regulations

Just an example of my confusion is lets take Lochloosa. Our central area is 14" and one over 22". Lochloosa is everything over 15"and under 25" has to be released instantly. So I can keep a bass that is 14" to maybe 14 3/4" and anything over 25" right? Then other places if I can't find the body of w...

Re: Before and after, just finished the game cart

Good points Ted. I think I got the balance where I want it and I wanted enough height to clear small knees. So far I've just hauled climbers on it (and myself for test weight) but someday soon I'll get a real test. I have some wider tires on a smaller wheel frame but I felt they were lower then I wa...

Re: Devils hammock wma

Devils hammock has been flooding pretty bad the last few years. I wonder if it has to do with all the land clearing the Canadian cattle farmer did, since he bought just about everything on all three sides. It used to flood a bit years ago, but recently it's insane. It was a great place before then, ...

Well I'm no connoisseur but I can tell you that they changed the bottle content from quart to Mil. liters in 1980. And some bottles had codes for dating on the bottom.

Re: Need Advice on Lime Application

How acidic are they saying it is? I landscape for a living and find most of the places I work are too alkaline ( typical in many parts of Florida). I add sulfur to increase the acid not reduce it. If their assumption is to make it neutral to grow non native plants, I guess that assumption works.

Good weekend find

I hadn't been to a gun show in quite some time, and had never made the run up to the jacksonville cliffhanger one. Went there looking for muzzleloaders and stumbled on to a model 37 Ithaca 12 ga turkey slayer. Felt real good to shoulder it, and it had some nice features like ported barrel, camo job,...
