Not to beat a dead horse but my origional guestion was not weather a 243 could kill a hog or not I am sure it can kill and elephant in a perfect senario, my question was can it kill one thru any thick grass or palmetto's or bushes. Let me ask you 243 guys a questions I am just curious. A good friend of mine years ago shot a 243 he had a cousin that worked on a ranch and we hunted on the ranch on the weekends in cow pastures we had to make min 250 yard shots becouse of no cover what so ever. anything less that 250 to 300 yards ...

I talked to my Deer prossesor on Monday He said he knows the guy very well who did the shooting, He is not sure what really happened though he said he hase gotten a few different stories. I hate to hear this.

its funny the game camera is what really got me the deer. My lease in in Screven county Ga. A friend of mine lives on the outside edge of the Brady Ranch He said every once in a wile he will see either an axis or an elk aroud his house. I dont know how often it is but could you imagine seeing a 700lb elk feeding in your yard when you leave for work.

Isn't it crazy what they want for new tires these day's! First trip this year
Finally got to go to our lease in Ga. Like everbody else has been talking about there is a bumper crop of acorns this year so the deer are not go to our corn piles like they should. But we did manage to kill 2, I killed an 8 point w. crossbow and my son killed a 4 point with his bow. not a bad weeke...

Yeh i am real happy with it. It seem to work well. It is a little small, But it makes you have to be resonable with what you bring. like I said we had 4 people in truck and the only thing in the back of truck was coolers and other odd and ends. the best part of it when we get to the motel we reserv ...

It has been finished for a while know, Not much else I can do to it. I put a 12 vlt. power point in side along with a dome light and a battery powered lcd dome light and also a gun rack.
