Probably not. But if I decided to I'd use a bow and only take one off by itself so I didn't run the rest of them off.

Huge CO Non-Typical Mulie
Ok, it isn't a whitetail but it has a heck of a rack. This is a photo of a young man that is a friend of my cousin's son. It shows him with an absolute monster non-typical mulie he took this year on CO's 2nd rifle season. The buck was taken in unit 421 on the Grand Mesa and the hunter is basically j...

2014 CO gobbler
I took this bird last May on a friend's ranch in eastern CO. This is a Rio Grande bird. he weighed 22 lbs, had a 10 1/2 inch beard and spurs that were inch long and a quarter. This was my first Rio and I'm very happy with him. I took him at about 20 yards using my late Father's old Belgian made Brow...

Re: Winter's Meat
I didn't like to first pics so I'm putting better ones up. Unfortunately I can't seem to edit the original post. Not sure why. Pronghorn. Notice he has a 3rd horn on the bridge of his nose. I've never seen that before. http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/pronghorn.jpg Mule Deer Doe. http://www.hunt101.c...

A good brown trout
I know that most the fishing photos on this forum will be warm water fish but I had to post a pic of a trout I took yesterday in my native CO. http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/BT3.jpg This is a brown trout. It was 26 inches long and weighed right at 7 and a half pounds. It hit a 00 silver MEPP...

Re: Winter's Meat
I completely process it out west, including grinding the burger, and then freeze it solid. I transport it in coolers with a big chunk of dry ice. After to cooler is filled with meat and the dry ice you use duct tape to completely seal the lid all the way around. Meat will stay frozen for 3 days this...

Winter's Meat
I just got back from hunting my native CO. Mama and Me are pretty well set for the winter. I took a really fat mulie doe off a friend's ranch in Eastern CO with a .54 cal T/C Renegade. http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/mulie_doe.jpg Add her to a decent pronghorn buck I took 2 weeks ago and we sure won...

Finally back on the Gulf Coast
I've been away for several years. The Navy decided I needed to be in VA instead of FL so they sent me to the Hampton Roads area. That was the 4th time I got stationed there and I hated it every time. They can't send me there anymore though! I finally retired after 25 years of active duty and left VA...

Re: Is this economy Picking up?
I'm trying to sell a house in Pensacola since the Navy has now stationed me in VA. I've got it listed for 107,999 which is almost $30,000 less than I owe on it. The backyard is a little more than an acre. I haven't had a single person even come look at it. And, this is in a military town where house...

Re: So how do you like your GM vehicle now???
Never bought a GM in my life. Never will. Years ago my old grey haired Daddy told me if a man was truly proud of the product he builds, he'll put his family name on it. I know who Mr. Ford is. Have no clue who Mr. GM is though.

And this surprises you? Sure doesn't surprise me. You can take some people out of the ghetto but often you can not take the ghetto out of some people.

Re: How was your 2010 - 2011 hunting season
Mine was a complete bust. Military duties kept me out of the field for the entire season. And, that's especially bad since I can hunt as a resident in Colorado, Virginia and Florida. didn't get to hunt a single day in any of them. That doesn't happen often, but when it does it really gets depressing...

Re: How Much for a Lease to Hunt Hogs?
I guess since you are so disgusted with the hunting in FL, it is only neighborly to point out that you're welcome to return to OH anytime you want. After all, if it is so great there, why don't you simply go home? I'm out in the Pensacola area and can hunt several of the WMAs every year. I have neve...
