2 gadwalls, 3 widgeons and a blue wing teal. What a great hunt! I'm going to try and standby Saturday.

STA 3/4
I finally drew a permit (3rd year trying) for sta 3/4 this saturday. I downloaded the parking map and was hoping for some feedback on spots to hunt. Other than getting on a spot that doesn't have a canal to cross, is there any area that might be better than others (accessibility, water depth, etc.)?...

Re: Everglades Holiday Park
Been out twice. Saw a total of 15 ducks with 3 being the largest group. Lot of shooting west of me. Sounded like 1 guy was running around in his airboat all morning stirring things up for the others. I hunt from a jon boat off the Miami canal and it didn't sound like there was anyone within a mile o...

Re: Everglades Holiday Park
Made it out this morning. Windy! Saw a couple, never got any to come in though. Supposed to get cold Thursday. I'll try it again.

Re: citrus wma deer
For archery this month, do you need to get a daily quota permit from the check station, or can you just go hunt? I'm bringing my 86 year old father up there in a week or two. He hunted there every year back 50 or 60 years ago. He hasn't been able to hunt for many years and needless to say, he's EXCI...

Python Challenge
I just saw the ad for the state's Python Challenge. Here is the link.
http://www.pythonchallenge.org/
Runs for a month and person with most python kills gets $1,500 and the biggest gets $1,000. Costs $25 to enter. Good luck!

Hello. Anyone know of a gunsmith in Broward county? Need a revolver drilled and tapped for a scope mount. Thanks.

Re: Prairie lakes
One of my favorite WMA's. Here's a Google Earth shot with a placemark of an area where I've always seen hogs. It's a nice thick area between the 2 lakes

Lease openings in Glades Highlands Collier or Hendry County?
We're losing our lease in Highlands county (Hwy 70 and 27) and I'm looking for another lease/club to join. I live in Broward and hunt mostly archery. I seldom hunt on the weekends. It's just me, my wife doesn't hunt and my son is in college in Texas. I am a native Floridian, 51 year old non-partier....

Re: This years bag so far post pictures
Got pictures of this guy on the game cam before I finally was able to see him live. 3 hogs so far with my bow and my 30-30 took the 8 point. First deer ever for me as well.

No, I still use these on occasion...just not very often! Good luck.
