Re: New shotgun

As long as you are not too small guy, you'll be fine.

I'm 5'10" and I can shoot 6 rounds out of my 12ga Mossberg 500 in less than 3 seconds.

And as long as its pretty close enough, you can kill pigs with 2 3/4" 00 buckshots. (done it numerous times)

Re: Anyone interested on Savage .300 win mag?

I was thinking the same thing, poor shooting form. bet he got the crap knocked out of him and wishes he got a 243,lol. He sure did sir! haha These are the reasons why he wants to sell this rifle 1) Price of the ammo (Ridiculous..) 2) Too much recoil for him to handle (haha) :pinch :tung But right n...

Re: Large boar taste great!

My first boar was weighted 184 lb. It was a one healthy looking boar and it was the only hog that came out of the bushes so I was like "Why not?" so I shot him with my .30-06 with 150gr Winchester. As soon as I shot him, I waited till he finally had his last breath, then I took my knife out and cut ...

Re: How Century Arms weapons are made (Humor)

First gun I bought was an AK, love the thing to death, probably pushed 5k rounds through it. I got one of the few "good" century arms wasr-10s. Groups 5"@100yds which no one believes till they shoot it. My only complaint is the idiot I bought it off of painted it with cheapo paint, it needs duracoa...

Re: How Century Arms weapons are made (Humor)

AK'S, caveman simple and a true Klingon battle weapon. I like the metal butt plate, a bayonet +1. all it needs is a set of brass knuckles inlaid into the underside of the rear stock, and a beer btl opener. Steel AK mag opens beer bottle quite nicely! Re: Handgun recommendation?

Now I'm leaning towards 9mm from .40 cal.

Did some more research on rounds and seem like 9mm has some advantages over .40.

Re: Anyone interested on Savage .300 win mag?

Alright guys, I was looking through his profile picture and found this one that shows the rifle somehow. I was at the range that day and he shot total 20 rounds to zero that rifle and since then, we never went to the range again because he paid 35 dollars for that 20 rounds at the place. This is why...

Re: Handgun recommendation?

chill, that was sarcasm if you couldn't tell. as for the OP, he is young, but I believe he has a good head on his shoulders or he wouldn't be asking for advice. gotta walk before you run. and I wouldn't recommend cc for ANY first time handgun owner at ANY age. it's just not safe for them or those a...

Anyone interested on Savage .300 win mag?

I have a buddy who has a Savage rifle with .300 Win mag. Not sure what kind of model but its probably either model 110 or 10. He barely used it due to the ammunition cost. He is only 18 and he got it for his birthday present. It comes with the scope and he will sell it for 350 dollars. I'll try to g...

Re: Handgun recommendation?

Sorry guys! Forgot to mention what the purpose will be. I'm planning on conceal carry. At the gun shop, tried couple holsters with full-size smith & wesson M&P and they fitted great and pretty comfortable. Weight didn't really bother either. I chose .40 cal because I like the fact that they're betwe...
