Re: Florida Law and Nieghbors "pets"
You might be able to pull of trespass. Look into the trespass statutes, also check civil remedies for trespass. I would look into animal cruelty laws. I would hate to see one of you guys get arrested for some bs. That's my two cents, and good luck.

Re: A Land Remembered ---- Awesome Book about Old Florida
Great Book! It was required reading 10 years ago in high school, along with Alas Babylon (WWIII in Central Florida I think in the 50's) Those two books are my favorites.

Re: cool looking fox squirrel
That is a cool looking fox squirrel. There is a place on the FWC site you can report where you saw it. At the end of the year they put out a report that has a map with all fox squirrel sightings.

Changes in Regulation
I got really excited a few minutes ago when I saw the change so I figured I would tell everyone. It is now legal to hunt rabbits and squirrels with airguns on private and PUBLIC land (WMA's). If you look at the major changes section of the new hunting regulation book it is the last one. Finally get ...

Blueing?
Hey I have an old Stevens 20ga. I bought from M12gunboy. I was gonna get it reblued and took it to GanderMountain, and they wanted $225 to do the job. Anybody know of someone else that does this in the Central Florida area? Would I be better off doing it myself? $225 is three times what the gun is w...

Re: Tide Swamp in Big Bend
Well I haven't been to Tiger Bay. I tried once but the road to get to eat was under construction and made it a pain to get to. That was over a year ago though. They do have camping right next to the WMA, so there is a plus if you want to hunt the whole weekend. Lake Monroe has three parking areas. I...

You can hunt Tiger Bay or Lake Monroe. It is Small Game season, so no centerfire rifles.

As I recall reading his statement, I am pretty sure he wanted us to use double barrel shotguns.

Re: Bill Nelson
What I find interestingis his "assualt weapons are for killing not hunting" line. So what is it that we do when we hunt? I guess animals don't die if you use anything other than Black Guns. Another thing, I use my AK-47 to hunt with Mr. Nelson, yes I have a 5 round mag for it.

Re: Handgun recommendation?
Well if I may throw my two sents in. I have learned alot in the past month of working at a gun store. If you are looking at the S&W check out the shield. It is extremely popular we cant keep the 9mm in stock and we are almost out of 40 S&W. Take a look at Glock too. Check out the Gen 4 over the Gen ...

Re: ? FOR SCOTCH DRINKERS
I wouldn't call myself a "connisuer" but it definitely took me a bit to get used to it. I spent 28 bucks on a handle and I wasn't going to let it go to waste since the first drink was different than what I was used too. After about a week of drinking an ounce or two on the rocks, I quite enjoy it now.

Trapping petition
I am debating on starting a petition to the FWC about allows other traps, besides havaheart and snares. Want I would like to open it up to is body traps (conibar) and/or things like dog proof coon traps and the like. Just trying to get a feel on what kind of support this thing could get. I was think...
