Re: Help needed to clean Copper Foling on my rifle...
I noticed the nice "green" tint some of mine are getting. Although it's mostly on the shells that I have loaded into the gun at one time or other. The ones I have only touched to move to the aftermarket plastic cases haven't shown any signs of tarnishing. I'm guessing I should be able to use a buffi...

Re: Clean a deer in less than 3 minutes
I'd have 6 less fingers and one heck of a mess on the floor. That knife looks like it's sharp enough alright. I wonder if those were kevlar gloves he was wearing. And where is this feller when I need somebody to help me skin out a deer?

I see you found a new photographer. Not near the quality of your other pics.

Yep. No firearms registration in FL (unless you go automatic, use a supressor, or night vision scope).

Re: tiller and plot question
Couldn't hurt, but the deer will get used to the smell fairly quickly. For some reason, the Milorganite just seems to hold em off longer, at least thru the first 45 days or so.Iluv2hunt wrote:Tie old rags around the food plot, either on stakes or on tree limbs. Man! I think Gunboy saw that one on Tuscawilla Rd. last week in that pasture just south of the Mobile station chasing buzzards off from a kill.

Re: E6000 glue for arrow inserts?
Dunno. I'd try it on 1 arrow first. Wait for it to dry the instructed time and then put in a field point and see how it shoots. If it shoots well, then use a pair of pliers and see if the field point and insert will pop out. If it sticks solid, put the arrow in the freezer for 10 mins or so, and try...

Re: breakfast casserole
Sounds like the Pampered Chef breakfast bake recipe. We use the same thing, except add chopped spinach and quick fry hashbrowns before baking. Never though about vacuum packing and freezing for hunting trips. Sounds like I gotta start planning out my menu for this coming season now.

Probably easier to chase down, but much more feisty than a 4 legged critter. She looks mean as hell.

Seen a flock of about 20 turkey last night on the side of the Greenway (417) just west of Lake Nona. They are always there but no way to get to them. D**n birds!! Welcome to the site. There are several different flocks between the Boggy Creek Toll plaza on 417 and the Lee Vista exit just north of t...

Re: Satellite or cable?
I just switched over to Brighthouse from DirectTV, mostly due to cost. You can't beat the price for the TV, phone, and internet bundles. Plus, I don't have to worry about the signal going from 99.5% to nothing every time a storm rolls in from the southwest. I liked the channel selection better on DT...

I have had a bear try to climb in a ladder stand with me. He got about 3 rungs below my feet. I have had a bear follow me out of the woods (last season) and follow me to my truck. I have had a bear in the back of my truck, helping himself to a bag of corn and my cooler(last season). he did not want...
