2017 deer season done

Well had a great Season , saw lots of deer and now was able to harvest the largest to date buck I have taken

and then last week I was able to take this legal 4 for meat in the freezer

Congratulations! You did have a great year! Great bucks!
It appears you have a "real" meat grinder. What brand is it? The sausages look very good. How did you season your links?
I've never had satisfactory results using my grinder to stuff sausage casings, using the 2 hole sausage plate, it still didn't do as well as I had expected. Maybe I was spoiled by having used a commercial water powered stuffer for so many seasons. I bought a 15 # upright stuffer from Northern Tool that works pretty good.
Do you smoke any of your sausages?

It’s a Osborn national meat #12 it is hand push but works. I did 25 lbs itialan and 25 sage sausage ac leg season is what I use. We used it at winndixe when I cut and like it. As for smoking the meat I have not done that yet want to do summer sausage one time. Will see had burgers last night that were amazing and treated my crew at fire station to back strap

Damn bud we gotta get together. Didnt hunt this season.. noone to hunt with and no motivation

Im game but not too many hogs there lol. I run my beagles there alot. Never saw 1 hog lol..

Old rooting by the swamp but thats it

Dam Crock We will pick up here for a few weekends of small game hope fully befor deer season over so we can hunt hog with rifles. Boats required to camp only way there.
