Was out at my stand and he came chasing a doe
8or 9 depends who is counting 4 on left funny 5 on rt . Just got back home after cleaning and iceing. About 140 lb a trophy to me and meat in the freezer.

Good job, jtcmedic! Is the right antler palmated? If you get a chance, take another picture of the ol' boy's rack so we can see it a little better and then give us a little detail to your successful hunt. 24 days till opening day in the Panhandle, then for only 4 days, gettin' a little antsy!

Congrats, gun season starts for us Saturday morning and I can't wait. My entire camp will be on hand, family & guests included, we should have close to 20 people around the camp fire Saturday night, just in time for a small cold front to push through.

Tomorrow back to Toso for 4 day of black powder. On my buds permit. My spot the acorns were starting to drop heavy last Friday.

Ted, I tried every week to get a Toso return permit. Between 3 guys, none of us was able to get a redraw...

Deer number 3 when I got to her she was kicking and screaming so I ended it fast with snapping the neck.
