Well here is the story, Had seen this deer 4 years ago he was chasing the does in to the field. Doe ran in to woods and he stopped 40 yards from my stand and started to eat. Hit him in front left and he tumbled and tried to but plowed the ground and was done. Called my father in law and we loaded him up and went to my house to clean him with my kids and wife. A great end to a good evening

Yep trail pic from 4 years ago (I think) I use a scorpion pt gold 300gr 50 cal sabot with blackhorn 209

That's really interesting, looking at the rack 4 years ago, even then it was weird on the right side. Just goes to show what 4 years will do for a deer from a spike on the left to a nice rack on that side. I've always heard that an injury on the opposite side effects the formation, shape size, etc. of a rack. Was there any indication of any thing had gone on with his left side?

Body was perfect doing the skull on Friday will see what it tells 'maybe a old fx. Great time told my wife had to tell the story at the virtual hunt camp .

Well was deciding what to do with the antlers did a euro last year, decide on a skullcap here is the start , will leather wrap it and doing a plaque cut from the property where deer is from.

All meat processed and wrapped. There was more only, ground 30lb and made rest to roast and steaks ,

Osborn national 3 inch opening. Great grinder my father in law bought it at a yard sale , little smaller then the one I used at windixe as a meat cutter a while ago but is great. We have 2 plates course and fine, I course grind and the regrind in fine, I have the sausage attachment coming for it, cased sausage last year will do it again .
