This little piggy's sister

Post by blackpowderscout » Sun Aug 03, 2014 11:13 am

I spent most of the weekend over at Iluv2hunt's place helping with some chores to get ready for this coming up season. I guess he felt sorry at how much I sweated and how bad I stank so he let me sit in a gorgeous little spot this morning. This lil' girl came along shortly after sunup. Thanks Allen! I had a fun time even before this morning's hunt.

I am the one that needs to be giving thanks. You have no idea how much I appreciate the help. Could not have done it without you.

Is that the rifle y'all built last year? Seems like I remember that fancy carving on the comb :dtect . It looks like the round ball did the job and you won't go hungry for a while!

Swiss....It's a .54 rifle. I used 90 gr under a PRB. I tried something new and wrapped the ball in the patch and tied it loosely with some string, then dipped in an olive oil/beeswax mixture. Carried a few in an altoids tin in my pocket.

Tree farmer...yes that's the rifle Supercracker built for me. He does really good work!

Jeff...Thanks!
