Ok so I busted azz( working on everything) and was able to hunt Sunday. Shoot this pig in the morning and walked a zig zag line right to me.

He still was able to run about 50 yards think. I would be dead under the stand.

My grand daughter scared of frogs and lizard but runs out to see ( bacon as she calls them) She expressed the wish to shoot one.

I thinking trying a different way of making bacon from the neck. for now its on ice

Nice shot! Looks like pork for ALL! Let us know how the buckboard bacon goes. I'd like to try that myself.

It usually good. Just had some. I made from a wild pig I raised and butchered last year made 18 lbs of bacon off of her. Its realy simple to make the pig taste like ham. My bacon still not quite what I want but I have not smoked it in any way yet. Not saying it not good the grand kids and the wife ate over a LB this morning. I do believe there's allot missing with out smoking the bacon

The ham turned out great. Its really good, sliced it medium to thick like bacon and fry it with breakfast. My granddaughter loves it.

This bacon mix is more like ham- not using this for bacon again cant really tell the bacon from the ham. so I labeled it all ham.
