First gators of the season.

We got 2 8ft'ers last night. They will make nice meat gators. Next stop Hancock for some bigger guys. Anyone else get some gators yet?

Not sure if I would rather be locked up with a 12 ft shark or helping dogs pull down a big ole hog.

Nothin to brag about, but it was my first hunt, and came back with two 5.5ft gators.

Between my vacation and quota hunt this past weekend I haven't been yet. Gonna try and hit the water Tuesday night I think.

Yes used the crossbow. We have not been to Hancock yet. We have 4 tags to fill out there. We decided to get meat gators at the first spot and try for a biggun or two in Hancock. We know where a few 10ft + are there if no one has snagged them yet. If so there is more just have to find them.

Good job on your haul! I forgot how much work cleaning a gator was. 2 in one night whipped us.

I hear you loud and clear about gator cleaning. I was WHOOPED after doing a few. Now come the next part... the tanning process.
