Wow, that's pretty cool. It's amazing how some of these critters move around. I'm glad they caught him to send him back home before some idiot decided to shoot at him.

I ran across one of them 30+ yrs ago in Daytona. As a kid in the summers Me and a friend would fish the intercoastal from sun up to sun set. we would fish out on sandbars and jetis. we wanted to get over to another sand bar but had to wait till low tide and walk around mangroves and a small pool. that's were we met him.

there was a 12 footer in the twin rivers ponds 7 or 8 years ago. not sure if it is still there or not. saw pictures that a customer took. pretty wild.
