I hope the title didn't throw anyone off .
Went out looking for a good eating size . Found this guy a little too far to cast at him . So after some calling he came over , and was able to snatch him . Short 5 minute fight and he was harpooned , then a 223 powerhead took care of him .
Now that's what I call tailgating

I think on the 4-5 forums I read, you are the ONLY one I have seen with ice on the gator.

Thanks Allen , caught him at 12:30 am and he was iced at 2am . I always ice them down with in a couple of hours . But I have a ice machine with a 500 lbs bin . Not many people own a ice machine .

You not suppose to use poising on them. That rock gut in the bottle will kill everything. Always remember
