I saw something similar on another site, so I made a trip to Ace and grabbed some stuff to make a few of these. Your camera needs to have a threaded hole in it to do this. You can position your camera precisely how you want it with this. I will be using these to put up real high and angle down over my areas. These cams also have a threaded hole in the back of it so that could be a different configuration. I will also put an additional eye bolt in the tree next to it so I can lock the cam to it with a cable lock

Thank you for the idea. I have been thinking about how to do something similar. And now I know what to do. Greatly appreciated!

I have the same camera, what are the specs on the parts. I have seen some trail cam studies of the deer not being skittish if the camera is mounted +7ft above the ground, especially the bucks.

1/4" eye bolt, about 5-6" long (to screw into camera).
eye screw/lagbolt to screw into the tree.
short bolt with a washer and wing nut to bolt the 2 pieces together
