New project

Post by ario » Sat Mar 28, 2015 2:18 pm

A couple of weeks ago, my son in law brought me a gizmo from the hospital were he works. He told me that the hospital was throwing it out and said I would think of something to do with it. I took one look at it and said oh yah, I know what I can use it for. It was a rolling stand that had monitoring equipment mounted on it. I am going to keep it in my ground blind.
What do you guys think?

ario,
That's pretty neat. If you got room why not, especially if you can leave it and not have to be concerned about it "walkin" off. Will you use it as rack or an actual shooting rest?

Its going in a two man ground blind at my lease. I am going to use it as a shooting rest. It's going to be better than my shooting stick.

If you are a scrounger, there's nothing like a hospital for finding treasure. It's amazing what they throw away.

Yah, especially if they are non-profit.

In the early 80's working at a VAMC at the end of every fiscal 1/4 we would incinerate things of high $ value so we could buy more and be sure to use up our allotted budget, or it would get cut for the next 1/4. Talk about waste! Not even allowed to bring any of it home, "that would be stealing", but burning is OK. Our tax dollars hard at work.

That's just too cool! Now with that camera set up if you can figure out a way to motorize the cart and put a triggering mechanism on it you'd have yourself a great little "watchdog". You could let roam around your house when you're not home. Just remotely drive & shoot from your iPhone. Ha! :chain
