Haha! That's awesome! I bet those fellas on Duck Dynasty could put some wheels and a motor on that thing. :clap

My father passed away in July and this was his Landcruiser that he was rebuilding. I went and got it and will continue to reassemble it. He bought it new in 1970. I can't wait to get it together.

Those old Toyota's were tough trucks. I drove one all summer back in high school when a friend of my stepdad's broke his leg. I got to drive his truck all over the dunes and beaches of St. George Island back in the day when you could still do that.

Make sure you post some pictures when it's done.

Well I sold the old '86 Ramcharger. It was just getting to be too much of a project for the time/money I had to spend on it. I think it went to a good home though. The fella was really excited and has some big plans for her. I told him he had to send me some pictures when he gets it done.

Anyhow, I went back to my Ford roots and picked this '02 F-150 XL 4x4. I really love it. Been getting getting to know it over the last week or so. Had to remove a lot of bling the PO had stuck on it. Not sure why some folks think chrome stickers look good. Anyhow it's coming along nicely and is already woods ready. I'm planning on a topper for it along with some other goodies to make it better to haul all my camp/hunt gear with.

9dawgs,
That's a fine lookin' Ford. Mine's a 2000 F-150, got it back in 2010. Took a little gettin' used to, it gets the job done but sure like the gas, most times it's around 12mpg.
