Dang, that's this Saturday! Snuck up on me. I gotta find time to make sure my old Wingmaster is ready and that I have a couple boxes of shells. That's all I'll need, right, just a couple of boxes? :D

i have not taken my wingmaster out for dove for a couple years. not since i picked up the model 96. i enjoy shooting that more, plus i dont have a plug for the wingmaster. Gary if you are on, then you will only need 15 shells, if not, 15 boxes might do it. my 2nd phase will be down til at least the 18th as landowner will be on an out of state hunting trip. have too much to do to make it out anyhow.

Does it matter what time you show up? If not, I should be there by 9am barring any problems on the road. I'll be in a white 4-door Dodge Dakota 4x4 that needs washing.

I sure hope they have a good hunt. I was all set to go - stopped at the store after work yesterday and picked up some dove loads, some sandwiches and snacks, water, ice, etc. Got my shotgun out, checked it over. Put all my gear in the truck, ready to leave this morning. Took my dog out for walk before bed, stepped off a curb and twisted my knee. Hobbled back home about a 1/4 mile and put some ice on it. Woke up this morning and it was swollen a bit, hard to walk on. So I had to stay home, learned my lesson last time this happened and I pushed too hard.

It was a good hunt with good food and company. Birds were flying fast and high. My stepson Patrick achieved shot of the day I believe. Here are a couple pics of the boys.
