I learned just how bad my range of motion has gotten, especially the neck and left shoulder. it was like trying to hit a 100 mph fastball, lol.

well you will be missed G.B. but I guess I'll be able to leave the tow strap home now. Maybe someone has a 10 y/o kid that needs a leafyflage suit. I found an old WW2 camo airplane cover to make into a poncho.

Its getting closer. Hope all that time at the clay field will pay off. Make sure the migratory bird permit is up to date and shot gun will not hold more than three shells. Get the coolers cleaned out, and stock up on plenty of water. Nacho cant wait to see your new pancho. Hopefully there will be a big crowd for opening day.

So who is going for the dove opener? I am going to go either the first or second weekend. Leaning towards the second. My 1100 and model 96 are ready to go!

Looks like I will be there for the hunt. Should be there around 10 am with a few things for show and tell. Look forward to having one of Wingshooters mid morning breakfasts.

Gunboy, you say 10 am but you really mean 11:30, and i will bring some food to eat. Coolers cleaned and ready. I have to update my migratory game bird stamp. Nahco make sure you bring the jerk strap for Little Joe, lots of sugar sand. Always look forward to the dove opener, primer for the season. Hope to see a bunch of guys from the forum this year.

If they let me, I'd say hell yes. Just got my mig bird stamp & pamphlet today & it says "effective for the 2013-2014 season, the POSSESION of mig game birds is raised to 3x the daily limit. If we spent more time hunting than eating/ drinking/ BS'ng & letting other hunters claim our birds, we might have limited out. we came close the first few hunts, but that last one during the last phase was PI-TI-FULL. First day of the first phase for me. It may be hot, but the birds were flying lower/slower & not spooked.
