The birds really showed up on my lease this week with the cold front. Droves of them. Ducks too finally. Heard woodies for the first time this season today

I should have went out and shot doves today. Both gun shows were a bust. Saw only one deal the whole time and it was a wood stocked Ruger 10/22 for $189.00.

Other than that prices were extremely crazy and the funny thing is some people were actually buying. IDK....

I spoke with the guy on the phone yesterday and he said the northern birds haven't really showed up yet. Then I woke up with a head cold this morning, so I'll head down before the end of the season.

Oh and I did great at the last gun show that I went to. I sold a Keltec PF9 w/ a fobus holster and 50rd of ball ammo, and a Taurus 24/7 .40 and a fobus holster for $600...
People were just giving money away that day!!!
