dove hunting is a challenge, especially if it is a little windy and they seem to be in kamikaze mode. we usually start around 3 like you all are and then when we are done we give them to the property owners and he gives them to his crew leaders that work for him on the farm. its alot of fun. sometimes we keep some, but they never go to waste.

i prefer a pump shotgun. have had alot of practice, I'm very quick with my pump gun. my mossberg 500, purchased in 1990, i don't have to pull the trigger after the first shot. just hold the trigger in, and slam the slide forward, will fire. has always done it. It is a Mil-spec shotgun, don't know if that is why.

i dont think they make those anymore. i think ithaca had one like that too. i like my pump shotgun more that shooting and auto, i think its just cause i am more use to it, more comfortable. i have an 870 wingmaster, love it. shoots nice, and i can shoot all day with it.

she doesnt hunt, and she wont shoot any of my handguns or rifles, she only likes to shoot trap. its fun, we dont do it as much as we use to now that we have little ones runnin around, but that will soon change causee we will just take them with us.
