"Where The Red Furn Grows"

Great movie for my fellow houndsman!
its a must see! Its about a boy who became a coon hunter.

Any dog hunter can relate to every part of this movie!

Its on Netflix btw.

yep great movie but the second one wasn't as good.

One of the best books I ever read as a youngster. Couldn't put it down.

Looks like the book was written in 61
Movie made in 74
Sequel in 92
And was remade in 03

If you ever get a chance to watch "The Biscuit Eater" its good too - not as good as Where the Red Fern Grows, but still good.

Went to my son's school last night and his class just finished going thru this book and watched same movie as well. He said he didn't cry, so I need to work on him about being honest!

It was si sad when the pup just wanted to lay on his brothers grave. So sad.
