Outboard mechanic, Tampa?

Post by Iluv2hunt » Sun Jan 13, 2013 9:32 am

Does anyone in the Tampa area know of a mechanic that will work on a 4HP Mercury and not rape me? I am pretty sure it's the fuel pump. It sat for a long time. Buddy went thru the carb and it was running good on the stand, then fell on its face when I put it on the boat
This is a kicker I use on my Gheenoe

My neighbor (who've known since high school) has a shop and I basically give him extra when he works on my motor as I feel it's a bit low priced. Webber Marine here in St Pete wild o you right for sure.

Not in Tampa, but Longs Marine in Brooksville are great and priced well too. Its a small rougher looking place but they are honest with lots of experience.
