I have never shopped in one, nor ever been in one before today. I guess main reason is I don't really have one close to me. I had to go to S. Tampa today for work and swung into the one on W Cypress

Do yall find their prices to be high, generally speaking? I need some basic trailer parts (just some brackets that are rusted that hold the bunks on). Didn't see any and needed to get going regardless. What I did see on the shelves for the 10 minutes I was in there seemed very high to me
For instance, the rubber "v" on the front of the trailer that the nose of the boat rests against...$14.99. I just saw it online on a boat trailer parts store for $2.99

Don't think they will get much of my business

Yep, they are high on stuff like that. Sometimes they have deals on higher dollar equipment though.

Very high priced...I just replaced the tires, leaf springs & links on my boat trailer. Picked everything up at Tractor Supply, cheapest prices I could find around me.

It's actually 54 and Little rd. They didn't have shart. Tires were 2X the price of everyone else. Didn't have the leaf springs I needed (which is a fairly common size), and the trailer lights were about $7 higher for same brand that wal mart sells. Also didn't have the brackets I needed.
And the chicken feed was $4/bag more than the feed store by my house. Left w/o spending a penny

I'll just order everything online

i have got some really good deals on reels at west marine in the past. mostly just right place right time, but I have picked up 2 $100+ reels for under $50. I pop in there every once in a while to see what is on sale. for the most part, they are very high on stuff.

you spent more than a few penny's driving there. I've had better luck at harbor freight. and theres a Northern tools & equipt near there too now. you can check prices and availability online before you drive. I'm looking to build a shade awning to cover my pool equiptment and the awning or Bimini top guys want an arm & a leg. I could drive a pipe in the ground and use a picnic umbrella or 2 but that would look just too redneck, but work great.
