Still round 1500. I might get a shallow water pole anchor system or a powerpole micro. Had some winds this morn. It sucked. Only caught 3.

Owens corning 1 1/2. Hard to find!! I got a knockoff from a lumber supply in leesberg. 37 dollar sheet did my whole 16' jon boat

No the idiot at the dealer mounted it like crap. Sold me a boat package that required a mudd motor on a boat i wanted a regular outboard. This was unacceptable. The transom was already starting to bend.

I see what your saying, 1st time you would of run that skeg up on something hard the whole unit would of peeled off, those two bolts weren't going to provide much insurance.

yup.. but the boat dealer assured it would.. thats ok now i have 4 1/2" through bolts on the jack plate.. and 2 through bolts on the outboard with the clamps down on a piece of wood getting a good bite.

Ok so i got the materials to start framing out my casting deck and the rear deck!

Once thats done well decide what actual decking material we are going to actually use!
