What's it worth?

Post by pcbfish » Mon Jun 21, 2010 3:42 pm

I am thinking about selling my boat just like to have some input before I do
I have a 1990 Lowe Alum Smi V- hull 160 bass boat with 1990 Johnson 40hp vro engine, this boat has been very well maintained. Carbs cleaned and serviced last year ( $585.00) It has live well and lots of lockable dry storage. Two Battiers, Two 6 gals fuel tanks ( new ) . New Garmin 160 color fish finder. New water pump. Cup holders, cooler mounted on boat. Rod holder for three rods mounted on console . New bilge pump. New Bimini top.Trolling Motor with foot control. All lights on boat and trailer work and all gauges work. Tilt and trim works, just needs tilt and trim sensor to show on tilt and trim gauge. Boat has no leaks, 1990 Royle Galv trailer with new gavl wheels and new tires, and spare mounted on trailer.
One person can load and unload this boat just fine.
Thanks for any help Jim (pcbfish)

I have no idea what it's worth but it looks to be in great shape for being 20 yrs. old. Good luck if you decide to sell.

Thanks for the replies so far, I was reading on a boat forum that when a boat gets a certain age a lot has to do with the shape it's in. In other words if a 2000 is worth $3000 and in fair shape and a 90 is in better shape the year doesn't make that much difference . This boat shows some age but runs like new, and is very solid.
I was thinking like $200,000 :clap :no

Wish I had the extra money. My FIL and I could use a flat bottom like that, but times they are tough right now. Good luck.
