Any others with kayaks

just purchased a tarpon 120 about a month ago. Any others with fishing kayaks? i love my kayak fixing to make a rudder for it. i got the plans of how to make a rudder for $10 when i finish i'll pass them on
also i would like to see if i could find a stake pole/stiffy pole and a scotty rod holder. anyone got a extra or know where to get one?

what motor? i got a trolling motor that will be going on it soon,
bass pro extreme. 20lb powerpro braid with mono backing on a quantum IM6 7'rod. \
mitchell spinning reel on a 7.5' medium action graphite rod 10lb ande mono fast tip.
Tarpon 120 fishing kayak.

I am a fellow kayaker myself. I have a Perception Caster 12.5
Would like to see your homemade rudder. I have made a couple and always tend to beak them on oysters. I refuse to pay the $$$$ for a commercially made rudder that I am gonna break anyway.

Remember, if you put a motor on it(even a trolling motor) you must register the boat

The best thing ive found for my stake out is bamboo ,free and natural

im a landscaper. my big bro owns a nursery and grows bamboo he has some that are like 18"s wide at the bottom and like 30' tall. i will ask for a 8 or 10' piece

I got one of the 5$ hiking poles at wal mart for a stake out pole. I use it more than my anchor
