I've done the kayak fishing for sharks....it's a helluva rush. I had a nice blacktip drag me about 3/8ths of a mile offshore from where I started fishing...(500 yards or so into the gulf off Sanibel Island). Long paddle home.

I was getting a little worried, but he finally jumped and I saw it was a blacktip and he burned himself out.

Toughest part is trying to kill them, gut them, and secure it to the kayak for the paddle back without falling into your own chumslick.

Have kayak, will travel!!!! I love kayak fishing the flats. Man is it a rush when you hook a big fish in it. I caught a 36" cobia in mine and he took me for a ride

Definite good job on the rebuild. Must have cost ya almost as much as a new one by the time you were done.

pcb you hit the river or do some bay fishing your boat looks like it would do fine for both.

Well right now we fish the bay and inter coastal , I need to find someone that knows the river then I could fish and hunt the river system. Maybe when you get down we can figure out the river. :rockon

My buddy is chomping at the bit right now he is wanting to get some offshore done and them wet lines off of piers.A++ idea on fishing and hunting the rivers cause I am hoping to find myself a small boat to do just that!!
