Just talked to my brother in law.. he said the dolphin fishing is on fire right now down there.. been catching 30 + every time out!
A buddy of mine last week won $20,000.00 in a tournament with a 35 and 25 and a few more in the 15-20 range. Bad part is they lost one about 45. Got my fingers crossed for this weekend. :rockon

About $400. Great return on the investment.

Good luck, DONY! Hope you find the big bulls out there!

Looks like my son may not be home this weekend after all. They graduate tonight from their tech school, but they are finishing about a month early and they haven't got their orders yet. No orders, no go. Still a small chance he'll get them tonight or tomorrow, but may be a couple of weeks or more. Nothing like military efficiency when it comes to paperwork!

So probably won't be fishing with my dad until my son gets home. Might just make another trip to Miami and get some peacocks!

I have a question for someone,, i got a 14 foot Jon boat, and am wondering if a electric trolling motor would do for the motor on it? if so what size? if not then what size gas motor? i'm thinking between 5hp and 9 hp....next do anyone have either kind of motor they may want to sell or trade I have some tools for trade along with some cash.. I have a craftsman 10 in table saw with stand, a craftsman 10 in compound miter saw, also a plung routerand bits that is still in the box.. tools should be worth $275. easy

A Power Pole is probably the best thing I've ever put on a boat. Don't know about drifting with it though cause it would drag along the bottom and put alot of pressure on the fiberglass rod.

Very nice boat HF. :rockon

Only thing it needs is a cushion on the front seat so your nuts don't slap up and down on the seat while you are running 40mph. Ask me how I know :wacko

The power pole is great, don't think it would work for drifting though..I got the XL which is 8ft but you can only anchor in about 6 ft..but it works great..I will stay out of the nut slappin' topic, I do need a cushion on that front seat though my wife complains all the time..
