beagle, is that the same as hull as a carolina skiff? looks like my j16. that thing must haulass with a 70 on it. mines rated i think for max 40 hp.

Ima get me one a them too. My FIL and I been lookin for a wide 16 footer for the Choctawhatchee River the coming season. There's some real good places there that are only accessible by boat. Hopefully the river will come down some for this season. Last year youda had to hunt from the boat, cus the stands were all under water, some up to the platforms.

Well I picked up my new to me gheenoe last weekend in Georgia. I'll take some pics and post them here soon. In the next few weeks I'll give those peas another shot. For right now it's dophin time with a few tournaments in the next few weeks in the Grady. Next boat will have an aircraft motor. :toast

Man, I want to get on some of those dolphins! Got to talk my dad into taking his boat out while my son is home on leave the next few weeks. When he bought the boat from his neighbor, the guy gave him a ton of GPS spots out to about 150 miles! We rarely go more 10-15 miles out, but I'd like to catch more than undersize grouper, grunts and small snapper. I want to hook into some dolphin, permit, amberjacks, tuna, etc. Fill that freezer up!
