Post by kthuntz » Sun Feb 13, 2011 7:04 pm

have a minn kota great white that was a transom mount. i took it apart and swiveled the head around to make it like a bow mount. bought a bow mount from a local boat shop and made some redneck mods to get to work. never did fold up quite right. eventually it cracked the mount. need another mount but cant find any. any body know where to find them or have any ideas for me. any help would be appreciated

I see stuff like this on Craigslist from time to time, but it's a hit-or-miss kind of thing. Seems like when you need one they are hard to find, then once you break down and spend the money to get one, they are all over the place and a dime-a-dozen! Good luck, if I hear of something I'll holler at ya!

Here's something that might interest you:

It's down around Ft Myers, not sure where you're located. Might be able to work out a shipping deal or something if needed.

I'll keep my eye's open for you.
