a**holes like that make it tough for law abiding common sense practicing people to go out on water without being harassed if it looks like you have a fast boat

very lucky to be alive, a miracle he didn't crack his head open on some part of the boat/equipment/rails. looked like he had some control/balance issues at high speed even before he hit that wake. thank God for the life vest and kill switch, probably should have had a helmet if he was planning on hot dogging around like that.personally I don't see the need for that kind of speed, even the best boat/driver won't be able to see and react to an animal or object partially submerged. I've seen pretty girls get ugly real fast going 1/2 that speed doing a face plant into a rail or gunwale

That's a man that should not even be allowed around a glass of water any more.

I agree that this guys an idiot but not because he's hauling azz on the water. There ain't nothing wrong with some speed on the water in the right place. I also have the need for speed and have been up to 130 mph on the water. However, it wasn't in a place like that and I wasn't jumping wakes either. Them bass boats are light as he** and made to chine walk but not jump waves at 60+. If he had trimmed it down a bit he probably wouldn't have gone airborn. Bet he don't do that again. :pinch

The speed part did not bother me other than he was doing it to just show off. He was being reckless and was luck that he did not hurt anyone else.

This might be a stupid question, but I'm not around boats alot (maybe 4 times in my whole life). What took the camera boat so long to get him out of the water? It did say he was unconscious for 10 minutes in the water, right? Does it really take that long to turn a boat around and pull somone out (assuming the boat is about the same size as the one that crashed)?
