Turkeys are out ta control

Post by Iluv2hunt » Fri Nov 15, 2013 9:30 am

Sitting in my ground blind and its drizzling rain. So far I've seen over 50 turkeys. The 3rd flock had a bearded hen. Never seen one in person. Last flock had about 4 Jakes and they were gobbling their heads off like its mid March. Not a full gobble but fairly close. This is crazy..

Saw several jakes today between calls. Nice color to them.

I got TONS of gopro video of turkeys this week. When I get home and get caught up with work I will put some youtube videos together. All hens and jakes. Long beards are invisible......

Had the wife sit with me one evening and she got to see a huge flock and hear some feeding calls, clucks & purrs, etc..even some kee-kee's. She enjoyed seeing it
