Had this guy flopping before 8. He kept his pattern up one day too long

Good job! My wife's glad we don't have turkeys close by, kinda' like when she says, "Glad you don't bow hunt." More time for honey-dos! Do you utilize the whole bird or do you just work up the breast? Been years since I killed a turkey, then only while deer hunting.

Re: Back at camp by 0830
The one my son killed the other day, I scalded and plucked it. I baked it in the roaster oven a few days ago and it was ok. Nothing to brag about
I took all the leftover and put it in the crock pot with cream of mushroom soup. That has been my camp chow the last 2 days
Usually I skin them and freeze each half of the breast individually. When we get a hankering I take one out and cut into strips, batter and fry
The rest of the meat I whittle off an throw in a pressure cooker. I use that for turkey and yellow rice. Also I strain the stock off and save it

That's what I'm talking about, back in time for breakfast. I love it when it happens like that sometimes it seems to easy then others it seems like the impossible.
