Haha, dang Allen. You go man! Hey you can always dispatch them like the guy did on "Alaska The Last Frontier". One season he used a samurai sword and just walked up behind them and lopped off their head, and the next he used a pair of garden loppers. He thought those would be more humane. He hung the turkey upside down because it calms them and just took it's head off with the loppers...

Either way it good I guess but I like the samurai sword better. Of course you'd have to watch them run headless around the yard but hey, that's what makes it fun.

Ha ha...no loppers or samurai swords for these guys. They are pets now. We named them Bonnie and Clyde. If I am in the back yard, they raise cane till I let them out. When they come out, they follow me like lost puppies, and lay down right next to me. It is actually hilarious. If my wife makes turkey noises, he will strut for her. He won't do it for me :cowboy

Do you think you can train those birds to stay within 20 yards of your pop up blind??

The way they are attached to me, they would be in the blind with me...

I can just see it now, you kick em out the pop up right at 1st light and then they spend the next 2 hours circling the tent scratching to get back it. No need for a gun or bow, you could knock ole Tom over with a spear or club at that point, he'll be right on top of you.

It's gonna be hilarious when he stars gobbling. I'm sure my neighbors will appreciate it right about daylight on a Saturday morning....

I was just talking to my buddy abt this. Get some chicks and raise them up to call in the gobblers for ya. The way my chickens follow me around when they are out im sure a turkey hen could be trained to do the same thing.

Gotta take a minute and show off Clyde. He has really been spitting and drumming a lot lately. Been trying to get a decent video of it, but he may strut for 10 minutes, then spit n drum soon as I turn the cam off.
Got this little vid the other day. DOn't know how it got sideways

Then today I was trying again. Low and behold I got his first gobble. Wife said she heard it yesterday. Since then he's got it figured out and won't quit
