I know with most turkey hunters, we are scouting every time were in the woods. Anyone been out recently?

Was at my lease this weekend. It is a wet mess. There are dry areas and I am beginning to see turkey crap out on the roads. I tried to do some hog stalking yesterday afternoon and this morning. Today there was a gobbler giving it hell this morning from 7(when I go there) till about 745. He probably gobbled 50 times

I was out at a local WMA for some small game and I didn't hear any gobbling (probably got there too late), but I saw a bunch of droppings under several trees. Definite roosting trees. Way out in the back 40.

I would like to try also but public land turkey hunting is hard enough with a shotgun. Lol. One day maybe.
