Book Recommendation

Post by Triple Creek Reaper » Wed Dec 16, 2015 11:51 am

I have seen a few recommendations on here before and had a chance to read some of them. I came across a book last night that I think a lot of members here would enjoy. I found it for free on the Kindle book store last night after someone gave me a heads up.

If you have some free time over this upcoming holiday break, give it a try, I made it through the first 30 pages last night, not only is there some good story telling but I learned a lot about the Appalachians and all of its connecting ranges.

Our Southern Highlanders by Horace Kephart

I checked this morning and its still free for an ebook

Not free but worth the few bucks:

Bone by Robert Morgan
Illumination in the flatwoods
...anything by Tom Kelly

Found it free in kindle edition today. Thanks for the recommendation. I go through a couple of books a week.
