Ouch!! That hurt the wallet. I would think they would post notifications somewhere on the forestry site where we could see when tracts are going to be burned. I know they cannot give specidifc dates because it is based on weather conditions, but it would be nice in a given year what tracts are to be burned.

I too had some chasing action on Saturday morning at daybreak with a big buck running a couple doe's past me. Could not get him to stop at all...

Looking forward to this coming weekend and hope we get some decent weather!

Well how did everyone do this past weekend? I went Friday Morning and Sunday Morning and sat till almost noon both days. Friday I only saw 4 Jake's and my dad had two doe's come by him but other than that it was dead quite. Sunday morning I had a "deer" come by at about 60 yards with it's head down and moving fast. With that fog and cloudy skies I could not make out what it was. Would have liked to of hunted more this weekend but had to put up Christmas lights and spend time with the family.

Had some jackhole's driving on a closed road where I was at and that just screws up that area once they get that pressure on them. Plus a couple Elmer Fudd's walking around with enough orange on that they looked like a Macy's Parade Float! I did see two good bucks Thanksgiving afternoon near the WMA but they were on private property that nobody can hunt...:(
