lockloosa

I went driving the roads this eve. saw a real dark 6 or8 pt still in velvet he had a small deer with him I didn't have time to check him as I was still glassing the bigger buck as he walked across the road. about 20 minutes later I drove back thru and two deer were standing in the road about 50 yards from where I saw the first ones both red summer coats a big doe and a cowhorn spike about 10 inches with horn polished clean. a light rain had them moving .All of them were going the same direction. I wonder if their are some late blueberries in that cut behind the fire. years ago that block had a good patch and the deer were there stripping them. anyways that is 5" for sure bucks" in the last 10 days. my dad drew 1st and I drew 3rd gen gun so I am stoked to get after them either in a tree or with the dogs. jesse
