I think GobbleGetter hunts down that way. If I remember correctly, he had good things to say about it

Friends from work have hunted there for years...and love it. Deer and Spring turkey (which can be one of the best places in the State)

It's around $300 bucks a year if I recall??

You are talking the bombing range, right?

Really only negative thing they've mentioned is the short notice closures that go on. They've been geared to go for a weekend only to find on a Thursday the place is closed down.

I just got a permit to hunt there. Yes the bombing range. I took a ride around sunday and it looked pretty nice.

Just a heads up,they only allow weekend hunting there,I was guested in several times last year and they pretty much squeeze as many hunters in there as possible,to say the least It was over crowded, and they also have dog hunts in there,I know they shut down a lot of the range if there is any military activity,so you are at the mercy of the range commander on your planned hunts, which could change over night,
I chose to stick with regular wma's where I could hunt week days as well when there is not a crowd
Hope this helped,good luck
