TOSOHATCHEE

Post by JBUG308 » Mon Jun 20, 2016 8:41 am

Drew 1st archery and a general gun for this. Anybody have any opinions? 2 deer allowed per permit, 1 buck 1 antlerless. I'll have to take a Saturday and do some bike riding.

well scout just before the season starts. Its on the river and when I say wet. I seen it swamped over the last 15 years. I have mudded down the back road so muddy you don't want to stop. I have also seen it dry. I like it wet better hunting. I shoot deer almost every were in there from just inside the hunt zone to the back of the property.

I went there for the first time maybe 5-6 years ago. The first year we went there, we saw hogs and deer everywhere. My buddy shot a doe and a hog walked by him a few minutes after shooting the doe. We saw deer walking out in the open all day. We saw hogs running in the ditches along some of the roads. I think that weekend they shot around 25+ deer. I thought it was a petting zoo...
We managed to pull permits for at least one of the muzzle hunts and one of the gun hunts over the past few years. Things sure have changed since that first year. It's never been like that first year we went there. I think we've killed maybe 1 or 2 deer in the years since. Where they at Ted?

Don't really know, Last year could barely find any everywhere but did not hunt toso. Maybe I taken to many out of toso must be over 30 out of there.
since 02.
My scouting this year show promise but I only have one hunt in there.

Well - I have the ML hunt in there as well. I'm probably gonna return the Archery permit since it may conflict with other things going on.

I've never been down there. Looking at the map it shows a campground close by? If I do go there I will have to spend a night. Can't drive back and forth on this one.....

I know you do any type of camp tent or camper in his yard i believe he has power to. The KOA changed to an RV park on hwy 50. Not sure if they allow tents now. Now there another koa a little more drive in mims.
village inn and rv park at 17883 E Colonial Dr

I do mean right across the rd at the entrance to Toso.
