Who hunts Citrus WMA

Post by TerribleTed » Mon Aug 15, 2016 5:52 am

I have a question about the antler ruling. Below is the ruling. To me this is a split antler that over 5 inches long. Others say its 2 antlers one needs to be forked. who hunt there and has info on this.

Legal to Hunt -Deer with at least 1 antler having 2 or more points (each point 1-inch or more in length) and having at least 1 antler 5-inches or more in length, wild hog, gray squirrel, quail, rabbit, raccoon, opossum, armadillo, beaver, coyote, skunk, nutria and migratory birds in season.

better. Started walking 2 miles in the morning. Then strained my Achilles. So Remember to stretch. I did not know to stretch the Achilles. You have to hold over 45 seconds. It docent feel that bad but Dr. said no walking for another week. right know I have a hunt at nov? to 27. Then one December 16. looking forward to it. Really looking forward to hunting this year with out hobbling. I may have to cart my stand around but that's ok. I strained my Achilles walking with a 20 lb back pack on.

took a ride out to Citrus on Sunday. Those roads are in bad shape and if you have only 2wd like me, not good. I had to be real careful where I went. Everything is soft from all the rain and I did not want to get stuck.
