Three Lakes WMA

Post by WildHogs4Otto2 » Tue Nov 15, 2011 11:11 am

Can anyone tell me how the hog hunting is at Three Lakes WMA?
I am still a Greenhorn at all of this and I am looking for all the help I can get. I watch a lot of the TV sportsman channels but the way they show it, it looks to easy to be true.
I have never shot anything larger than a rabbit, but I have always dreamed of hunting something with a little more excitement to it. So I figure that Hog Hunting is the way to start.

hunting use to be great at three lakes wma,but the poaching has bout ruined it..the gates are open year round there an its poached regularly..i grew up hunting there since the late 70;s an the hunting was awesome.the worse thing they ever did was allow 4 wheelers in there.last time i was there,it looked like a 4 wheeler race trac, there was trails all thru the palmetto flats an they were driving right up to their trees an stepn into their climbers..lots of lazy slob hunters there anymore...VERY SAD...
