I swear ive reloaded hundreds of handgun loads and never had a problem ever!

pistol rounds are nowhere near as long and don't travel into a die as deep. don't sweat it. it happens to everyone. sometimes you can have a bad or damaged die. I've had good luck calling the mfgr's, they usually replace parts or maybe even a whole new die. you will get a feel for the ram lever. if you feel increased resistance, back it out slowly, check it out, maybe add A LITTLE lube and start over going in/out a little at a time until fully in. if it's that case only chuck it.

Got the dies back together. I actually used a little nifty tool to get the decapper out of the casing!
