Almost 18 Years ago I traded couple of my guns to a fellow who was closing up his little reloading venture.
I traded a S&W model 36, Charter Arms Pathfinder and a Colt Combat Commander for bunch of reloading components.
In return for those 3 handguns I got 11 lbs. Unique powder, 9 lbs of H110 powder, 21 lbs. HP-38 powder, 20,000+ CCI large pistol primers, 25,000+ CCI small pistol primers, 400+ lbs. of 45ACP 200gr LSWC cast bullets, 250+ lbs of 38 Special 158gr SWC cast bullets, 8,000 Winchester 9mm 125gr FMJ bullets, 2,000 Winchester 45 ACP 230gr FMJ bullets, 3 buckets full of 9mm brass, 6 bucket full of 45ACP brass and a garbage bag full of 38 special brass.
Over those years I had used up all the items except the HP-38 powder. Now I have a little less than 1 lb. of HP-38 powder left and I'll be loading my favorite 38 Special load using 148gr wadcutter bullets and that HP-38 powder.
It's hard to believe I've used up all those components as I thought it would last me rest of my life.
18 years later I'm using up the last of my HP-38 powder
