SHORT BARRELED 357 LOADS
picked up a 357 ruger speed 6 with a 2 3/4" bbl for a trail gun , fixed sights and shoots the heavier bullets high/left. lighter/faster seem to come closer to perfect poa (point of aim). I got close with 15 gr 2400 and 140 gr bullets but still a little high and that 2400 is loud and flashy. anyone have any good recipes for 125 gr bullets, powder type and wt's? I have some unique and blue dot.
Re: SHORT BARRELED 357 LOADS
Try the Unique powder with standard primer.
Start around 6.8 gr and work your way up.

Re: SHORT BARRELED 357 LOADS
done and it's ok for longer ranges, but my use will only be close 25-50' tops and realy wanted to use the hornady 180 gr xtp bullet. am now looking into getting a taller front site, either fiber optic or tritanium, that will pin in place without a lot of mods or be too bulky/fragile and snag holsters.
