Anyone ever hunt Montana. Sent off my deer/elk combo. will know in two weeks if I get drawn.

ask about the expected elevations, and start getting in shape asap, everythings harder to do at elevation. hopefully youll be in some sort of vehicle or horseback if in the mtn's. get good binocs, re-zero your gun when you get there. and make sure your boots are well broken in.and above all have a good time and take plenty of pics. don't pass up on spring trout season if able either.

was born and raised in western montana. Unfortunately i didn't start hunting until last year and I've been in Florida for 10 yrs.
