There were a couple of quotas last year that didn't say dog in the selection screen and surprised the people who got it...

Homosassa 2/16- 2/19. Both of our groups got it! One of our guys lives 15 min. from there and another lives 30 min. away. We've got 5 guys going and we'll be bringing a few guests I guess. We were hoping to get different areas so we could guest off each other. The other groups last pick was Homosassa and it was one of my 1st picks. My same group of guys will be hitting St. Vincent Island again just 3 weeks earlier so I guess momma ain't gonna be happy... AGAIN. Oh well.

Green Swamp West Hog Still Hunt 12/16 - 12/18. Had the same hunt last year but missed it cause my daughter was born. Not having anymore kids so I KNOW I won't be in the hospital this year!

A few of you should turn your permit back in as the hunt gets closer. You'll get a preference point and you can take advantage of the buddy permit. You'll have a better chance of getting picked next year!

That's not a bad idea. We have some other buddies that didn't get to put in cause I told them they had till the 13th to do it and didn't realize it was the 11th until it was too late to call them. We'll make sure to return at least 2 of them and get in different groups next year.

Only applied to Punta Gorda and didn’t get it. Its only 8 permits and that is the reason I do it. Building points. Just want to have enough for something good as I hunt hogs in other areas. I noticed that my possible second choice still have a lot of openings for the second phase which means I get something (hopefully) on phase 2 plus keep my points. Works anyways and I can always go as a guest with my friends.
